“De eerste etappe wilden we graag in de breakaway met de ploeg, waar ik in slaagde. Uiteindelijk kon ik daardoor drie punten binnen halen voor het bergklassement. Daarom was het doel om in etappe twee weer opnieuw mee te zitten, omdat er veel punten verspreid waren voor het bergklassement. Hier kon ik genoeg punten verzamelen om de leiding over te nemen in het klassement. Dit konden we gelukkig na pech in de finale in de laatste etappe wel verdedigen, waardoor we de trui mee naar huis nemen!” ~ Marijn IJmker

“The goal for the first stage was to be in the breakaway with the team, which I succeeded in doing. As a result, I was able to score three points for the mountain classification. Therefore, the objective for stage two was to be in the breakaway again, as there were many points available for the mountain classification. Here, I managed to gather enough points to take the lead in the classification. Despite some bad luck in the final stage, we were able to defend the jersey and bring it home!” ~ Marijn IJmker
